LIVE - Brazilian GP 2026 Free Practice 1
Time for reading: 2 minutes

Good evening to all our Formula1.it readers. After FP1 at the Mexican GP featured a strong rookie presence, we can tell you that the first free practice session for the Brazilian GP will follow a broadly similar pattern. In Mexico City, Ferrari was the only team not to field a rookie during the opening hour of track action; here, however, it will be different. For FP1 at Interlagos, the Prancing Horse will field Lewis Hamilton and Swedish driver Dino Beganovic, who is currently competing in Formula 2.

Charles Leclerc arrived in São Paulo only a few hours ago, but is already at the circuit. The team, moreover, gave him a warm welcome and also congratulated him on the birth of little Bianca, his first child. Leclerc became a father just two days ago.

At Haas, meanwhile, we will see Bearman and the Formula 2 driver currently leading the championship standings, Rafael Camara. The Brazilian, however, will have a very different programme to Beganovic. Camara will in fact use Esteban Ocon's absence to undertake his first full F1 weekend, at his home circuit, with the team he will also race for in 2027. All that remains is to wish him the very best of luck. It will certainly be an emotional weekend for him.

Before we begin our FP1 commentary, let us take a look at the Pirelli tyre allocations for the Brazilian GP: Hard C3, Medium C4 and Soft C5 compounds will be available, the softest combination in the range, just as was the case in Mexico (photo: Pirelli graphic).
