Isack Hadjar was born on 28 September 2004 in Paris (France). After his beginnings in karting, he moved to single-seaters with rapid progression, building reputation and results in the junior categories thanks to one-lap speed and a growing ability in race management.
He made his debut in open-wheel formulas in 2019 in the French Formula 4 championship, then continued his path in international series linked to the development of young drivers. Entry into the Red Bull Junior programme came as he consolidated experience and results in regional categories, with seasons useful to develop working method and consistency.
In 2022 he made an important step in the FIA formulas, establishing himself as one of the most solid profiles of his generation and strengthening his position within the Red Bull junior pool. His progress opened the doors to FIA Formula 2, where he built experience in a more complex technical and sporting environment, alternating learning phases with high-level weekends.
The 2024 Formula 2 season represented his breakthrough phase: Hadjar confirmed himself consistently among the protagonists, with top-level results that completed the path towards Formula 1 and made him a natural choice for a seat within the Red Bull galaxy.
The Formula 1 debut arrived in 2025 with Racing Bulls (Visa Cash App), after the official announcement of his signing as a race driver alongside Yuki Tsunoda. His first season in the top category developed within a team designed to grow young drivers and put them in conditions to acquire mileage, method and useful technical references.
In December 2025 the promotion was announced: from 2026 Isack Hadjar moves up to Red Bull alongside Max Verstappen, while Racing Bulls reorganises its line-up for the new cycle. The move marks his full entry into the group’s top team, at a key moment for Formula 1 on the eve of the new regulatory era.
Among the curiosities, Hadjar is known in the paddock for a strongly competitive mindset, with particular attention to weekend preparation and the pursuit of qualifying performance.
He races with number 6, a number that had not appeared on the grid since 2014, when it was used by world champion Nico Rosberg and in the past by notable drivers such as Emerson Fittipaldi in 1972 and Nelson Piquet in 1987
