By: Late in the afternoon on Tuesday 2 September, from around 5:45pm, Piazza Duomo and Palazzo Reale are preparing to welcome a veritable sea of red. These will be the locations chosen by fans to await Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, the stars of the Milan event.
Ferrari's drivers also stopped at Palazzo Reale last year, drawing hundreds of fans to the heart of Milan. The scene could be repeated this year, with Piazza Duomo set to become, at least for a few hours, a small preview of what will unfold in the grandstands at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza a few days later.
Prancing Horse flags, caps, red shirts and smartphones ready to capture every moment: all the ingredients are in place for a major Ferrari celebration.
The event at Palazzo Reale will be one of the occasions marking the countdown to the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix. It is a particularly important moment for the drivers themselves, as it allows them to connect directly with their supporters and feel the warmth of the crowd even more keenly on the eve of what is one of the most important weekends of the entire season for the Prancing Horse.
The date is therefore set: Tuesday 2 September, at 5:45pm, in Piazza Duomo, near Palazzo Reale. For those unable to attend in person, the event will also be broadcast by Sky Sport F1 on its television channels.
