Esteban Ocon (born 17 September 1996) is a French racing driver. He started racing in karting in 2006, year in which he finished eighth in the French minor championship, winning instead the following year. He continued his winning streak in 2008 by winning the French Cadet Championship, before moving on to the international scene in 2009. He then moved into the KF3 category, remaining there until the end of 2011 when he won the French title of KF3 and finished second in the WSK Euro Series.

In 2012, Ocon made its single-seater debut, taking part in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 with Koiranen Motorsport. He finished 14th and scored four times, including a podium at his home Grand Prix at the Paul Ricard. He also played a part of the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps championship with Koiranen, finishing seventh with two podiums, both won at the Red Bull Ring.

In 2013 he decided to move to the ART Junior Team. He won three podiums, including his first victory at Le Castellet, finishing the season in third place in the overall standings. He made his Formula 3 debut at the Macau Grand Prix that same year, racing for the Prema Powerteam. In 2014 he continued his collaboration with the team by competing in the European F3 championship, where he won the top of the ranking from the first race at Silverstone and then won the championship one round ahead. The same year he made his appearance in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series, racing at the Hungaroring and the Circuit Paul Ricard.

On 11th March 2015 it was announced that Ocon would take part in the GP3 Series championship with ART Grand Prix. He won the championship despite a single win (two more lost due to penalties) and a long fight with Luca Ghiotto. In the 2016 season he made his debut in the top flight as third driver of Renault, just returned to Formula 1 as a team, and then was hired as a starter at Manor from the Belgian Grand Prix. In 2017 he raced as the Force India driver, a relationship that lasted for two seasons. From 2020 to 2024 he was an Alpine driver, with whom he won his first win in 2021 in Budapest. From the 2025 season he will be part of the Haas team; his race number is 31.
