Good morning to all our Formula1.it readers. In Singapore today, the final weekend of the season featuring a Sprint Race has begun. Marina Bay may not appear to be one of the most suitable venues for cars to run in this format, but some drivers, including Lewis Hamilton, see it as a challenge — and we could not agree more. The Singapore circuit is widely regarded as an Asian Monte Carlo, so we can view this weekend as a test ahead of Monaco 2027.
Free practice revealed some interesting aspects. As usual, the circuit is very dirty, so the drivers will do everything possible to run last during SQ3. We have also already seen a very strong McLaren, despite it only being Friday. At present, Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren are very closely matched. Keep an eye on Red Bull, though: they will probably also be part of the group fighting for Sprint pole.
Before turning our attention to live coverage of Sprint Qualifying, let us take a look at Pirelli's tyre allocations for the Singapore GP: the Hard C3, Medium C4 and Soft C5 compounds will be available — the softest combination in the range (image: Pirelli graphic).

Pit lane opens at 14:30 Italian time. Live coverage begins at 14:15.
