Yuki Tsunoda (Sagamihara, 11 May 2000) is a Japanese racing driver. He began his professional career in karting in 2010, when he took part in the JAF Junior Karting Championship; in 2014 he moved to the national championship.

In 2016 he made his debut in single-seaters, taking part in two races of the Japanese F4 Championship; in his debut race, at the Suzuka circuit, he finished in second position. The following year he competed in the full championship, finishing fourth overall.

In 2018 he remained in F4 and achieved seven victories and the championship title, after which he entered the young driver programmes of Honda and Red Bull.

In 2019 the Japanese driver was expected to compete with Motopark in the inaugural season of the European Formula Masters Championship, but following the cancellation of the competition he was entered in the Euroformula Open championship; he achieved one victory and fourth place overall, despite missing two races because he was simultaneously committed to the FIA Formula 3 Championship.

At the end of 2018 Jenzer Motorsport signed Tsunoda to compete in the following FIA Formula 3 Championship. Tsunoda finished the season ninth overall, with one victory.

At the beginning of 2020 Honda announced that Tsunoda would take part in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with Carlin. At the second round of the season, at the Red Bull Ring, he secured pole position and second place in race 1. His first F2 victory came in the Silverstone Sprint Race; in the rest of the championship he secured two more victories and three pole positions, finishing the year third overall behind Mick Schumacher and Callum Ilott and winning the Anthoine Hubert Award, given to the best rookie of the category.

In 2018 Yuki entered the Red Bull Junior Team, the young driver programme of Red Bull Racing. In December 2020 he had the opportunity to take part in post-season testing after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with the AlphaTauri team. On 16 December 2020 his official entry into Formula 1 with Scuderia AlphaTauri for the 2021 season was announced, replacing Daniil Kvyat; he is currently still a driver of the Red Bull junior team, now named Racing Bulls. Furthermore, he is the first Japanese driver to race in the top category since 2014; his race number is 22.
