Historical information

Present on the F1 calendar since 2021, the most successful driver and who holds the track record is Max Verstappen, in 1'20"273.

Among the fastest circuits on the calendar, it was the scene of Mick Schumacher's frightening accident in the 2022 edition, during qualifying. Michael Schumacher's son lost control of his Haas at over 200 km/h, completely smashing the car against the wall, but coming out fortunately unharmed.

The 2024 edition, on the other hand, saw the debut of Oliver Bearman in the Ferrari. The young British driver was called to replace Carlos Sainz, who was forced to be hospitalized to remove appendicitis. Bearman thus becomes the youngest driver to debut in the Rossa at only eighteen years of age, also taking seventh place overall in the race.
