The Jeddah Corniche Circuit, originally known as Jeddah Street Circuit, designed by German engineer Hermann Tilke, is a non-permanent urban track located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The circuit faces counterclockwise and since December 5, 2021, it has hosted the first Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in both Formula 1 and Formula 2.
The circuit can be driven at an average speed, estimated through simulations, of 252.8 km/h - behind only the Monza racetrack, which can be driven at an average speed of 264.3 km/h - and is the fastest city track among those on which Formula 1 has raced and the second longest track, at 6,174 m in length, after Spa-Francorchamps (7,004 m long) in Belgium.
Its high number of corners, 27, 11 right and 16 left, crowns it the holder of this particular record among all the circuits on the calendar. An additional feature of it is the 12-degree slope of Turn 13. It also offers three zones of the Drag Reduction System for the use of the moving wing.
