By: Good morning to all our friends at Formula1.it and welcome back as we bring you the second Free Practice session of the Sepang weekend. Formula 1 has moved the event originally scheduled for Bahrain to Malaysia due to the conflicts in the Middle East, allowing the championship to continue as normal and ensuring the event can go ahead.
After the first 60 minutes of running, held at 06:30 Italian time this morning, we resume with Max Verstappen at the top of the timesheets, ahead of George Russell and Isack Hadjar. Ferrari, meanwhile, appear to have picked up exactly where they left off at Baku. Charles Leclerc is the leading Ferrari in fourth, while Hamilton is sixth.
While we wait for the pit-lane light to turn green, a reminder of the Pirelli tyre allocation for these three days: the selected compounds are the C2 Hard, C3 Medium and C4 Soft. (image: Pirelli graphic).
