Geographical Information

The Miami International Autodrome is a temporary track, but designed to have the feel of a permanent one. Located in the Hard Rock Stadium complex in Miami Gardens, home of the NFL's Miami Dolphins.

Hard Rock Stadium knows how to put on a show; it has hosted six Super Bowls, two baseball World Series and numerous rock concerts. Then there's Miami itself, famous for its sandy beaches, art deco atmosphere, vibrant multiculturalism and rich sports heritage, it's an essential destination for anyone visiting the Sunshine State.

Where is the best place to watch the race? When watching a sporting event in a purpose-built stadium, it is hard to go wrong. In fact, you could walk around the upper deck of Hard Rock Stadium and see every corner of the track-quite unique. As for the best spots, a spot near turns 1, 11 or 17 should put you in the thick of the action.

Historical Information

The current circuit is the culmination of a development process that simulated no less than 36 different layouts before establishing a thrilling 19-turn lap that provides a street circuit feel, not unlike Melbourne's Albert Park.

Hosted the first Miami Grand Prix on May 8, 2022, the Florida race joined its Texas counterpart in Austin and became the second U.S. race on the calendar and the 11th different American venue to host a Formula One World Championship race.

It is a spectacular street circuit. With Hard Rock Stadium at its epicenter, the 5.41-kilometer layout will feature 19 corners, three straights, potential for three DRS zones, and an estimated top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h). There are also elevation changes, the main one being between turns 13 and 16, with the track heading onto an exit ramp and under several overpasses through uneven terrain. The chicane at turns 14-15
