Baku or Baku, also known as Baqy, Baky or Baki, is the capital, largest city and largest port of Azerbaijan and the entire Caucasus.
Located on the southern coast of the Absheron Peninsula, the city consists of three main parts: the center, the old Walled City spread over the territory of 21.5 hectares, and the part of the city built in the Soviet era. Baku is considered one of the oldest and largest cities in the East. The city is located on the western shore of the Caspian Sea (Absheron Peninsula).
Because of the similarity of the gulf it overlooks, it is twinned with Naples.
