Breaking news from the Netherlands: according to De Limburger, Isack Hadjar will be unable to take to the track at Zandvoort this weekend due to a wrist problem.
The young Frenchman reportedly sustained the injury, which fortunately does not appear to be serious, during a gym training session ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix. Red Bull, however, would prefer not to take any risks and give him time to rest, with the aim of having him back to full fitness for the following round at Monza, scheduled for the first week of September.
Looking at the driver line-ups, Hadjar’s absence would now trigger a chain reaction within Red Bull’s two teams. According to reports, Liam Lawson would take the Frenchman’s place, returning to the colours of the Milton Keynes outfit after his brief spell there last season.
His seat at Racing Bulls would in turn be handed back to Yuki Tsunoda, completing a driver reshuffle involving both teams. There has yet to be official confirmation from the team, but the situation could be clarified within the next few hours.
