San Marino GP 2001

Historical information

Imola is located in northern Italy, 33 km southeast of Bologna and its international airport. To reach the circuit, one has to drive along the A14 or the SS9. It is very fast, located in a magnificent area, inside a park, and on race days it fills with a lively crowd, all “red” in color. In fact, on Grand Prix days, traffic is quite difficult.
